A couple of small but concrete updates for Pokémon Champions players: Ranked Battle Regulation M-B is sticking around a week longer than originally announced, and a new online event just went live.
Regulation M-B — the current Ranked Battle ruleset that kicked off with Season M-5 — now runs through September 9, 2026 at 01:59 UTC, rather than ending a week earlier as first stated. No reason was given for the extension, but it lines up neatly with the Road to Worlds: with the 2026 World Championships landing August 28–30, the extra week keeps Regulation M-B (and its Battle Pass) active straight through the event instead of rotating out beforehand.
Separately, the next Pokémon Champions online competition has been announced: the August Monthly Challenge Series. Participants get an Alolan Raichu as a reward for taking part, alongside other prizes for the usual range of placements.
Nothing here changes what's already live — Season M-5's Battle Pass and the current ranked rules stay as they were — but if you were planning around the original end date, mark the calendar back a week.
