Nintendo's dedicated Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Direct aired this morning, and the full broadcast from Nintendo of America's official channel is embedded below.

The headline new detail: Fortune's Weave shares a world with Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The story is set in Dagsion, the capital city of the Dagdan Empire, where fighters from across the land gather to compete in the Heroic Games for the chance to win a single wish from the Divine Sovereign. Sothis — the enigmatic figure from Three Houses — also appears, though Nintendo didn't clarify what role she plays this time around.

The Direct reaffirmed the four playable heroes already announced: Cai, a boy trying to save his imprisoned father; Dietrich, a swordsman chasing stronger opponents; Theodora, a queen pursuing her homeland's long-held dream; and Leda, a musician with revenge on her mind. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave releases September 17, 2026, exclusively on Switch 2.

Nothing else was announced during the presentation — this was a single-game Direct focused entirely on Fortune's Weave.
