A wave of leaks about Pokémon Winds & Waves, the officially confirmed Generation 10 games due in 2027, is circulating from leak aggregator CentroLeaks along with leakers Kurwa (@kurwashibamaste) and IcyBoi33 (@IcyBoi33). None of this is confirmed by Game Freak or The Pokémon Company — CentroLeaks itself has acknowledged the account isn't "100% reliable", so read everything below as rumor, not roadmap.

The headline claim is the biggest: over 300 new Pokémon, including regional forms, reportedly join the Pokédex in Winds & Waves. If accurate, that would nearly double the previous record of 156 new Pokémon set by Black and White back in Generation 5, a jump big enough that outlets covering the leak are advising serious skepticism until more evidence surfaces.

Part of that inflated number may come down to a new battle mechanic tied to weather. The leaks describe special weather-related forms for many Pokémon, meaning some of the 300+ figure could be alternate forms of existing species rather than entirely new ones. Battles are also said to remain traditional turn-based combat (not the live-action style of Legends: Z-A), but with a twist: multiple wild or trainer Pokémon can reportedly "gang up" on a single Pokémon mid-battle, and the weather mechanic is said to let normally single-target moves hit multiple targets at once.

On the regional-form side, a more specific leak names 13 Pokémon getting either a brand-new regional variant or a new weather form: Drowzee, Psyduck, Shellos, Nincada, Houndour, Zweilous, Onix, Clamperl, Pikachu, Lucario, Kecleon, Arcanine, and Salandit. Drowzee is said to gain a Buddha-inspired regional evolution; Psyduck reportedly turns Ice/Psychic-type with two new evolutions; Salandit's rumored regional evolution comes out Poison/Dragon-type; and Pikachu, Lucario, Arcanine, and Kecleon are said to get the weather-based forms specifically, working something like a more elaborate version of Castform's weather-shifting.

A separate leak, based on alleged map images, claims to lay out the region's Gym Challenge and Elite Four. The eight Gym types are reportedly Grass, Poison, Flying, Fighting, Dark, Normal, Steel, and Fairy — notable because the series has had only one Dark-type Gym Leader in 30 years, and Gen 10 apparently won't have a Dragon-type Gym at all. The Elite Four is said to cover Electric, Water, Bug, and Dragon, which would be the franchise's first dedicated Electric-type Elite Four member. A set of harder, optional "Majin" battles reportedly covers Fire, Psychic, Ice, Ground, Rock, and Ghost.

The leaks also name the three starter evolutions: Browt (Grass/Ground), Pombon (Fire/Fairy), and Gecqua (Water/Psychic) — though as with everything here, treat those names as unverified placeholders rather than confirmed final names. Leaked box art is said to point to a Garuda-like Legendary for Winds and a Naga-like mermaid Legendary for Waves, both described as elder dragons appearing in both versions' stories, each reportedly getting an additional form. Smaller details floating around include shinies appearing in the overworld with an audio cue, and voice acting that was apparently planned at some point but is missing from the leaked builds.

Nothing here is official. Pokémon Winds & Waves' 2027 release window is the only confirmed detail so far — everything else, from the 300-Pokémon count down to the starter names and Gym types, is unverified and could easily change or turn out to be wrong before Game Freak says a word.
