Pokémon Pokopia's first paid expansion, "Bubbly Basin," is live today alongside a version 2.0.0 update. It's Part 1 of the Expansion Pass, which covers all three planned parts for $34.99.

Bubbly Basin adds an underwater town where Pokémon that live beneath the sea show up, along with ocean-floor-themed furniture and new outfits for Ditto. Water-type Pokémon can help grow watermelons, Generate-type Pokémon can power bubble machines and streetlights, and the expansion adds a power-up for the move Surf plus a new prepared food — smoothies.

Buying the Expansion Pass also unlocks recipes for Ditto-themed print blocks and wallpaper. Anyone who picks it up before August 31, 2027 gets a bonus code for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots.

Part 2 is planned for later this year with more new features; Part 3, adding another new town, is slated for 2027.
